Wyatt's birthday party.

We decided to have Wyatt's party at home this year and invite his whole class. Wyatt wanted the house decorated up in Star Wars. It was pretty cool too cause everything that we bought down to the napkins were in 3-D. We had a really good turn out. It was really neat to watch all of the kids and see who was talking with who and how they played with everyone (outside of school) The girls hung out in their little groups (clicks) and the boys just ran wild and tackled each other. They all came together when it was time to eat. But mostly they wanted to be outside. Which was great! When we sang happy birthday to Wyatt the boys decided they wanted to scream it instead of sing it. So it got a little loud. They wanted to play outside so bad you couldn't even keep them together long enough for Wyatt to open his gifts. It did get crazy at first. But then when it was time for the girls to leave the boys started to calm down a little. Wyatt also had a PiƱata. We let him hit it first seeing that he was the birthday boy. He broke it on the first hit!! Then everyone went crazy once again.

We had nine boys plus Wyatt here till 9 pm. Then we had two boys leave and the rest spent the night. I enjoyed having them all here. None of them were really bad at all. There were two of them that were wanting to play pranks on everyone. And that was right up my alley. So we were partners in crime together. They got markers out and tried to put "war paint" on me. Instead they drew a target on my forehead. Then everyone ended up getting their faces marked up. It was a lot of fun. Sad to say I am no stranger to that. They had a nerf war and Wyatt thought that it would be cool to see if he could hit the target that was on my forehead. He did and if I could have caught him, he may not thought that it was as funny as he did. The boys finally got quiet and (some of them) went to sleep around 3:30am. I know that was when I got to go to bed. I heard the next morning that they got back up and stayed up all night. I didn't care as long as they didn't wake me! I got up the next morning and made the boys some waffles. They ate them very quickly and then headed outside for one last game of soccer before they left. Wyatt had a blast at his party. And I was so thankful that it was a success!
