It's been a while...

Life got a little busy for a while. And I neglected to update the blog. The last time I posted anything was when I found out that we were going to have another baby. We had a baby girl. She is truly a blessing in our life. Mya Simone was born on October 12, 2010. We had a bit of a rough year since her arrival. But things are looking up, and tomorrow our little blessing will turn one. So here are a few pictures of our baby Mya.

Let me update...

Since my last post things have been a little busy for us. While we were in Cincy for Bradley and Brandon's party, we received an offer on our home in Missouri. We accepted the offer and had to move in 10 short days. We thought that we would have more time than what we did there so needless to say we really weren't prepared to move so quickly. Within those ten days we (Dan and I) also had to make a trip up to find a place to live in Connecticut. We moved out on the 10th of July. From there we drove to Cincy and stayed with Corny and Peggy for a few days. There we celebrated my 24th birthday again! Then Dan flew out to California and drove to South Carolina with the rest of the Jonas'. We went on our family vacation with the whole Jonas clan. (Corny and Peggy plan a vacation every other year with all their Children and grandchildren. It is a very good way for all of us to get to spend time together and get away at the same time.) Dan had to work so it was just me and the boys till that Friday then Dan flew in for the weekend. On that Sunday Dan and I drove to Kentucky to my Mom's house. Dan stayed there and worked out of the Franklin office, while the boys stayed and got to visit with their "Nana". I headed out on yet another road trip to Dallas, Texas! I went to the Mary Kay Seminar. Loved it!!! Drove back to Kentucky then three short hours later I was on the road to Connecticut. We have been living here in Connecticut since July 29th and WOW! We haven't stopped since we got here. There has been so much to do just to get Wyatt ready for school and to find a house. But I am happy to say that we do have Wyatt in school now and we are closing on our new home today. I am hoping by this weekend that we will have a chance to slow down a bit. But I must say that I have enjoyed our summer. Nothing like staying busy! I love our crazy life!!!

Our Trip to Cincy

Bradly and Brandon have graduated College and are getting ready to start their new careers. We are all so very proud of them. Phil and Brenda had a party for them before they set off on their new adventures. Dan and I wanted to go and help them celebrate as we will be moving soon and don't know when we will get back as well. We had a wonderful time there. We took the boys to a park and let them play on Friday and then we had our long awaited date night! Saturday we headed out to Phil and Brenda's for the party. Eli and Isaiah were so excited because they were going to get to play with their cousins!! And I know that it was Bradley and Brandon's party but some how I didn't even get one picture of those two!!! Sorry guys! We really had a great time being around the family once again. Wyatt had plans and didn't get to come with us, but he was missed by all.
We left on Sunday (Father's Day). It was nice that we got to be home for that as well. We also got some really cool pictures on Sunday of Corny and Peggy on a Harley! That is just not something that you see everyday.

Monday, March 30, 2009

Last weekend I attended Career Conference with Mary Kay. It was a two day event. So Dan and the boys went with me. While I was in the conference Dan took the boys to the City Museum, swimming and sight seeing around St. Louis. When it came time for lunch Dan picked me up and we had a picnic under the Arch. I think that it was one of the first times that Eli and Isaiah got to play down by the Arch. It was so cute to watch them as they looked up at the Arch! It was a really nice lunch. I was a little chilly so Dan gave me his sweater. I usually don't wear his clothes to Mary Kay events!

Wyatt's Spring Concert

On March 26, Wyatt had his Spring Concert at the school. He did really well. I think that he really did enjoy himself. Although every picture that I took of him he was not smiling in any of them. If he didn't enjoy the concert I know that he had a good time after I picked him up from his class. I thought that I would never get him to the car, cause he kept playing with his friends. Eli and Isaiah really enjoyed getting to see their big brother up on stage. That was the hardest part about the whole night was trying to keep those two still. In the pictures Wyatt is the third one from the left on the top row.

Isaiah's Powder Party!

Last Tuesday night Wyatt needed some help with his homework. I went to go help him while the boys were watching T.V. About five minutes into it I started to smell baby powder really strong. I heard the boys running around in the living room and laughing. When I went to go and check on them my kitchen and living room were covered in baby powder!!! I ask Eli what happened he just said that Isaiah poured it out and then they started running it. I looked over at Isaiah who is holding a brand new (now empty) bottle of baby powder and he was still shaking it. It was like I didn't even walk in the room! I knew that no one would believe how messy it was so I went to get my camera. I told Isaiah to stand still cause I wanted him in the picture. So he ran to the bathroom and got his step stool and started to pose for me. We now keep our powder behind a locked cabinet!
