Today started out kind of crazy. We knew that we had to spring up an hour last night, but loosing one hour of sleep didn't go so well for us. We were in a bit of a hurry to get ready for church today. I took the boys upstairs and got them dressed, but when it came my turn to get ready I fell a little ill. The flu has been going around, but I am not sure what got a hold on me. Let's just say it wasn't pretty. So Dan took the boys and headed off to church without me. He wasn't gone even a minute when I heard the alarm go off for a tornado warning. I was a little busy being sick at the time and couldn't call him. We lost our power about 5 minutes after they left. The winds were horrible and we were having hail. Dan and the boys were out in this and they could not contact me and I could not contact them. They made it to church and I made it to the bed. After the storm came through the sun came out and it was a beautiful windy day. I couldn't stand the thought of being sick and in bed all day. So we all wound up at the put put course. It was a little hard to play seeing that they had a tree that had blown over on the course and it was covered with a lot of debris. But we pushed through and had a good time. After our game we headed over to the park to do some swinging. Not me of course I was still not feeling my best. The boys enjoyed it very much. Then we went to the pond and fed the ducks. We also got Eli a bike for his birthday. We went home and took it for a little test drive. All in all we had a pretty good day outside in spite of how it started out.
