This past weekend Dan and I wanted to do something, but we just didn't know what. We decided to go to Branson for the weekend. Dan called and got reservations and I started packing. In about three hours we were on our way. I think that is pretty good seeing that I had to pack for three kids. Any way we had a great time just like we always do in Branson. This time we did a little something different. We went hiking while we were there. It was great to be outdoors and watching the boys hike through the woods with us. We found a really pretty waterfall and of course I had to get every one's picture by it. I am not in the picture (the remote is only good if you have somewhere to place your camera) So I just took pictures of my four boys! We climbed to the top of the waterfall and let the boys throw in leaves and sticks to watch them flow down. I think that the most exciting part of our hike was when Dan found a vine to swing from. I will leave the rest to your imagination! There wasn't that much to do there seeing that it was the off season. But we did catch a show, Jim Stafford, and he was funny and clean. We did a lot of driving around and looking at the homes in the area. It was a nice relaxing day. We then headed back to our room and watched the Bearcats play ball! I think that may have been Dan's favorite part. Our room was like a one bedroom apartment. It even had a screened in deck. So there was plenty of room there. We had a full kitchen, living room, and even a washer and dryer. I know just what everyone wants to do laundry while on vacation! But still nice if you ever need it. On Sunday when we were leaving Wyatt spotted a dinosaur museum. So we went there before leaving town. It was fun the boys liked it. We tried to pose for a few pictures in there but they didn't turn out as good as we once had thought that they would. But we still had fun. It was good to get away with it being such a spontaneous trip. I didn't think that you could do that once you had kids.
