Christmas at the Jonas'

Dan and I have been together now for 7 1/2 years and this was the very first Christmas that I have spent in Cincinnati with his family. We really enjoyed ourselves. We opened our presents (in Missouri) the day before Christmas Eve. We just sat around and enjoyed the boys playing with all of their new things. Isaiah got the dog biscuit. And Eli got a Wowwee alive tiger cub. Wyatt got a Wii. The boys also got a race track. It was a big hit needless to say! We all had a really nice Christmas.
We headed out Christmas Eve morning for Cincinnati. We got there around 4:00pm. It was pretty crazy when everyone started opening up their presents. It was really nice to have the whole family there. We took pictures of all of the grandchildren together. Wow there are a lot of them! I know that our boys really enjoyed getting to be around all of the cousins.
On Christmas Day we headed out to the Bartlings' home. They have an open house every year on Christmas Day. They have such a beautiful home! It was the first time that I had ever been to their home. Downstairs they had their pool table covered with anything that you could think of to eat. We stayed there for a couple of hours and then we headed off to Phil and Brenda's house for some card playing. That is always a lot of fun.

Friday I took the nieces on a little shopping trip. I had a great time with them. The only downside to our shopping trip was that Anna had to babysit and was not able to make it this year. She was missed! I look forward to my time with those girls they are so sweet and fun.
Saturday we got up and took the boys bowling. Dan met up with some of his old high school friends while we were there. As it turned out just the kids ended up bowling I think that the parents just sat around and talked. It was nice to see everyone and catch up with them. After we left there we went over to Matt and Leah's house for Ellie and Isaiah's birthday party. Ellie was sweet enough to share her party with her little cousin. It was like Christmas all over again! We tried to make it an early night. Because you guessed it another Christmas party in the morning!
Sunday morning we had the Biddle Christmas party. Once again it was nice to see everyone and catch up. The kids got more gifts! We had a wonderful breakfast. Then it was back to Corny and Peggy's to pack. I still don't know how we got everything in our van. We were packed in pretty tight. We said our good-byes and we headed out for...you guessed it another Christmas!
Our Christmas break was busy, but we enjoyed very much.
