Our hiking experence

Sunday we decided to go on a hike. To be honest I wasn't all that thrilled about the idea. It was about 50 degrees outside and I am sure that everyone knows how I feel about it being under 70. I am not a fan of the cold weather. We packed a lunch and headed off to this park close by our home. I was so glad that Dan talked me into going. It really wasn't all that bad outside and I really enjoyed myself. Of course I was armed with my camera and it is hard for me to have a bad time if I am taking pictures. It was really beautiful, and just getting to watch the kids play and discover some of nature...I should have went a long time ago. Needless to say we will be doing it more often. We may have to wait till Spring but we will do it again. Dan had fun exploring a little himself. He tried to swing on a vine but it broke. I don't know what I was thinking but that was one image that I didn't capture while we were on our little adventure. There was also this little building. I thought that it was made out of brick but the closer I got I realized that it was made out of mud or so it looked. It was very peaceful there. I really enjoyed taking pictures of it. Wyatt even enjoyed snapping a few shots with my camera. He was suppose to just take one of me and Dan but we couldn't get the little ones to stand by Wyatt. So he got all of us in the picture. I think that he did a really good job. When we were leaving they had this pond surrounded by trees. The trees have turned and then the sun was setting and shining through them. There was also a reflection of the trees in the water. It was very beautiful. We all had a very good time, and we were all very tired by the time we got back home.
