First trip to the Emergency Room...

This morning started off rather well. I was cleaning house Wyatt was eating breakfast and the boys had just finished breakfast and had got up from the table and started to play. Eli and Isaiah have a little table and chairs that they sit at to color and play that is in our living room. Eli climbed up in one of the chairs and was trying to climb onto the arm of the couch. The chair gave way and he slipped and fell. I turned around just in time to see the fall. He hit his head on the table on the way down. I ran over to pick him up and when I did I started to rub his head and his hair was wet...with blood!! So I called Dan and told him to meet me at the ER cause Eli had hit his head and was gushing blood. I put a towel on the back of his head and took him. He was such a trooper. Our poor little guy ended up with three stitches in the back of his head. He never even knew that he was bleeding till Dan told him that they were going to stitch him up! Then he wanted to see the blood. Dan and I were in there with him the whole time. The only reason why I say this is because Dan don't like needles. Dan stayed right there and held his little boy's hand and watched as they gave him the shots to numb him, and even held his head still while the stitched him up. I guess those needles aren't so scarey when your little boy needs you to hold his hand while he is scared, and hurting. One of the nurses came in before we left and gave Eli a bear for being so brave. We have three boys and this is the first time that we had to visit the ER when no one was sick...and I hope that it is the last
